MAKING AN IMPACT ON THE WORLD HAND IN HAND WITH STARTUPS – THE CASE OF KILIMO

The integration of startups and corporations is crucial for driving innovation and agility in the market. Startups bring fresh ideas and disruptive technologies, while corporations offer resources and expertise. Together, they can accelerate the development of innovative solutions, enhancing competitiveness and responding to market demands more efficiently. The integration of Kilimo with Coca-Cola was a success story we want to highlight. The startup, utilizing AI, assists farmers in reducing irrigation, measuring water saved, and enables companies to compensate these farmers for the impacts generated. Kilimo, from the portfolio of Kamay Ventures, is currently working with Coca-Cola Company towards water conservation and stewardship. This partnership aims to work towards healthy watersheds and sustainable supply chains.
