In March, the third edition of Kamay Code took place, this time in Mexico City. An event tailored for the Latin American innovation ecosystem, a space to discuss the latest technological advancements and business trends. The event spanned across 3 days. On the first day, there were activities between Coca-Cola Company and startups from the Kamay Ventures portfolio. All startups had a platform to showcase their latest advancements and seek areas of cooperation between them and our company.
Day 1 at Coca-Cola Company CDMX Offices
Day 2 was the “Signature Event” of Kamay Code at Espacio R, which gathered over 400 participants and more than 30 speakers. Panels and workshops were held on impact investments, foodtech, supply chain, and venture capital. 20 startups – out of 120 applicants – were selected for fintech, foodtech, retail, sustainability, and industry challenges. 5 startups per category presented their solutions, and 8 were chosen by the Coca-Cola Ecosystem to conduct proof of concepts and pilots.
Day 2 at Espacio R, CDMX
On the final day, we returned to Coca-Cola offices to co-design, alongside the selected startups, the proof of concepts that will be carried out with the assistance of Martin Vivas, an expert in design sprints. The 8 startups collaborated with company teams and bottling partners in pursuit of specific objectives. Many of these connections are already materializing into tangible realities that are beginning to impact our value chain.
